Life be Crazy. I am the first to admit I often feel forgotten and forsaken in my life. Do you ever feel that way too? It’s hard to believe when things feel so hard and lonely that Jesus is really there. Sometimes it sure does feel like he’s there for everyone else but me too and I wonder “where are my miracles?” But if I take the time to change my mindset, and ponder the things I am grateful for, he always seems to show up and I didn’t even realize he was there. And I bet he will for you too. 🙂
Jesus condescended to meet you today.
Did you go meet him or keep on your way?
He came to meet you right where you’re at.
He wanted to sit there right where you sat.
He was there waiting for you at the store,
Where you needed some bread but also His more.
He sat beside you as you waited for news.
He wanted to guide you, to help you to choose.
He was there waiting when you made that mistake. –
Even just then, His love won’t forsake.
When you thought that everything in the world was just right
He was still waiting with miracles, and insight.
You question whether there’s truth in this thought?
You think you’re alone in peace and onslaught?
What’s the infallible proof that you have?
That he neglected to help you, your burden to nav.?
If you open your eyes and take a deep look
The spirit will guide you and change your outlook.
And you might be surprised when you stop, and you say:
Where did Jesus show up today?
