I may be going out on a limb here but I’m guessing no one has ever claimed Mom Life is full of Rested Night’s Sleep. Hmm. Yet here we all are! Still getting up with our kids year after year. Must mean somewhere in the exhaustion it’s worth it. 🙂
On this bed I lay my head,
So glad I am for sleep.
About that time I hear the sound
Of two quiet little feet.
Sometimes they’re bringing mischief.
Sometimes a hug for me.
Sometimes they need some medicine
Or have something for me to see.
So up from my bed I pull my head,
(Still waiting for some sleep),
But for now it’s time to help someone
Who has two quiet little feet.
